Is There an Official Razer AVA SDK?

Short answer: no, there's no public modding SDK yet. Here's what actually exists today — with verified sources.

Direct answer

No. As of today, Razer has not published an official SDK to modify, customize, or build on top of Razer AVA (the holographic desktop companion). There is no repository, technical documentation, or access program called "Razer AVA SDK". What does exist are three related paths that are easy to confuse with one another.

The three real paths that do exist

1

Razer AIKit — local AI toolkit (not AVA-exclusive)

Razer's open-source toolkit (Apache 2.0, github.com/razerofficial/aikit) for running and fine-tuning AI models locally. It's general-purpose, not announced as the AVA SDK — though it shares the same maker and was used in the "AVA Mini" campaign as a specific collaboration.

2

Character/IP integration program for studios

Razer invites game studios and developers to "explore integration opportunities" to bring their characters into the AVA ecosystem, by registering interest through the Razer AI Avatar Platform. Not a downloadable SDK — a case-by-case collaboration program.

3

Razer AVA Beta (early access, not development)

Registering for the Razer AVA beta happens via Razer Cortex / the official beta page. It grants early access to the product itself, not development or modding tools.

Why the "avasdk" confusion exists

This site's name (avasdk.com) is part of the confusion — it started as a community hub and technical resource around the Razer AVA ecosystem, not because Razer shipped a product called "AVA SDK". We are an independent community resource — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Razer Inc. We track Razer AIKit and Razer AVA news closely and document it here as soon as it is officially confirmed.

Independence

"Razer", "Razer AVA" and "Razer AIKit" are registered trademarks of Razer Inc. This site uses them solely for informational and technical reference purposes (Fair Use).

Frequently asked questions

Are "Razer SDK" and "Razer AIKit" the same thing?

There is no plain product called "Razer SDK". If you're looking for Razer's AI development SDK, that's Razer AIKit. If you're looking for an AVA-specific modding SDK, it doesn't exist yet.

Is AVA SDK (this site) the official SDK?

No. AvaSDK.com is an independent community project — documentation, news tracking, and resources about the Razer AVA ecosystem. It is not a Razer product or a downloadable SDK.

Can I build content or skins for AVA right now?

Not through a public SDK. The only official path for developers/studios is Razer's character integration program — register interest via the Razer AI Avatar Platform.

When will Razer release a modding SDK?

Razer has not announced a date. Project AVA itself is expected in the second half of 2026; a public modding SDK, if it comes, would likely follow the product launch.
